Nagarkot at the height of 2,120 meter high, the closest hill for super sunrise / sunset views over array of Himalayan peaks, a drive of less than two hours located straight north-east of Bhaktapur city. Famous and popular mountain holiday destination in great comfort of nice deluxe-luxury hotels, lodge and resorts.

A beautiful spot facing stunning sunrise views over chain of peaks that includes from Ganesh-Langtang-Jugal Himal with Gaurishankar extends towards Everest region in the Far East horizon. Set in peaceful surroundings with views of snow capped peaks towards north, Namobuddha renowned and supreme sacred sites with holy Three Stupas/Chorten stands known as Tagmo Lüjin.

The belief is that this was the place where future Buddha sacrificed his own flesh to a hungry tigress, truly a sacred place where perfect and supreme Buddha-at that time still on the path of learning-offered his own body without regret to a tigress suffering from great hunger, rest of the history of this supreme and distinguished sacred site, whose location is unmistaken based on the clear identification given in the Sutra Requested by the Tigress and so forth.
