Embark on a journey from Kathmandu to Kerung at an altitude of 3750 meters, covering a distance of 150 km in approximately 6 to 7 hours. Following an early morning breakfast, the drive takes you to the Kerung Border (Rasuwagadhi - Kerung) Immigration. After a brief 10-minute walk across the Friendship Bridge, meet with the Tibetan guide and drivers. Subsequently, complete immigration and customs procedures before continuing the drive for about 35 km, a 3-hour venture through winding roads to Nyalam, featuring breathtaking scenery. Finally, transfer to a guest house in Kerung (3700m) for an overnight stay.
Embark on a spectacular drive from Kerung to Tingri at an altitude of 4330 meters, covering 217 km in 4 to 5 hours. The route offers wide desert plains of the Tibetan Plateau and a magnificent view of Shishapangma Himalayas. Witness the first glimpse of Mount Everest, its black pyramid dominating the horizon.
