Drive from Kathmandu to Kaule, Kakani (1 Hour, 26 Km)

The journey from Kathmandu to Kaule, Kakani, lasts approximately an hour. As you traverse this route, you’ll witness the cityscape gradually giving way to expansive green fields. This picturesque transformation offers ample opportunities for capturing the beauty of the hills and observing the tranquil village life amidst the lush surroundings. Upon arriving at our starting point in Kakani, you’ll catch sight of various trout farms and strawberry fields tended to by local farmers. The Langtang Range stands prominently in the backdrop, adding to the scenic allure.

Kakani stands out as one of the most accessible and charming settlements in the vicinity of the Kathmandu Valley. Hiking from Kakani to Gurje Bhanjyang (5 - 6 hours)
