Your first destination is the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Take your time to explore the temple complex and the multitude of shrines and smaller temples that adorn the area.

Next, make your way to Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in Nepal and a site of great reverence for Buddhists. As you circumnavigate the stupa, immerse yourself in the vibrant Tibetan Buddhist community, observing their distinctive cuisine, attire, and customs.

Afterwards, enjoy a scenic drive to Bhaktapur, the oldest city in Nepal. Your destination is none other than the beloved hilltop of Chandragiri, nestled within the embrace of the valley. Upon arriving at the base of the hill, you’ll embark on a thrilling cable car ride that will carry you to the summit. Covering a distance of approximately 2.4 kilometers, this exhilarating journey takes roughly 9 minutes.

Perched at an elevation of 2551 meters, Chandragiri has gained immense popularity among both locals and tourists due to recent developments in the area. Atop the hill, you’ll discover the sacred Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple, a site of great reverence. Additionally, from the tower, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking 180-degree panoramic vista of the surrounding mountain ranges, including Manaslu, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and more. After exploring the area, take a moment to relax in one of the serene gardens, where you can savor a leisurely lunch or snacks while soaking in the spectacular views.

As evening descends, return to Kathmandu, where you can relish the vibrant atmosphere of the Thamel evening market. Whether you choose to unwind at a pub or club with friends and family, or indulge in some souvenir shopping, the options for entertainment and exploration are plentiful.
