Itinerary

Day 1UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple)

Today’s itinerary is a whirlwind tour of four of Kathmandu’s most revered World Heritage sites. We kick off with a visit to Pashupatinath, a spiritual epicenter located about 5 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu. This sacred site holds profound significance in Hinduism.

Next on the agenda is Boudhanath, a monumental stupa and a cornerstone of Tibetan Buddhism. It stands as the largest stupa in Nepal and is a hub for Tibetan Buddhist activities.

We then delve into the historical tapestry of Kathmandu Durbar Square, where centuries-old architecture and cultural heritage converge in a stunning display.

To cap off the day, we ascend to Swayambhunath Stupa, perched atop a hill. Here, the sweeping views of the city and the stupa’s own spiritual aura combine for an unforgettable experience.

As the day comes to a close, we return to Kathmandu for a well-deserved rest, cherishing the rich tapestry of cultural exploration we’ve encountered.

Day 2Cultural Sightseeing tour in Bhaktapur and Patan cities

This day promises a deep dive into the cultural treasures of the Kathmandu Valley. You’ll embark on an exploration of both Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, immersing yourself in the exquisite woodwork, stone craftsmanship, and metal artistry that adorn temples, statues, and monuments.

In Patan, you’ll also have the chance to visit the Patan Museum, the Golden Temple, and the Krishna Mandir, all of which hold significant historical and artistic value.

Subsequently, you’ll make your way to Bhaktapur, situated approximately 12 kilometers from Patan. Here, you’ll visit a medley of sites including Siddha Pokhari, Taumadhi Square, Mahadev Temple, Dattatreya Square, and more.
