Trip Introduction
Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal, is the center of cultural assimilation, architectural wonders and varying lifestyle. Since last few decades, it has become a popular hub for entertainment, tourism and trade. Inhabited by native Newar community and later with the influx of indigenous people from other regions, Kathmandu has promoted itself as a melting pot of cultures. The hipster town of Thamel, Hanumandhoka and Jhonche holds an immense importance in the modern history for its influx of western Hippie culture and lifestyle during the late 70s’ and early 80s’.
Pokhara, on the other hand, is a quieter place located on the bank of Phewa Lake. Famous for adventure sports; Paragliding and Zip-line, Pokhara offers a greater relaxation and holidaying experience in Nepal. Being a twin-city of Kathmandu, they interconnect through the 174km long Prithvi Highway and a short air-route.
The wonderful Kathmandu-Pokhara tour offers you an opportunity to explore the world heritage sites along with historical monuments, temples and monasteries. Mountain flight offering close view of the Everest, white-river rafting on the Trisuli River and sightseeing from the hills of Nagarkot and Sarangkot, this trip can offer some of the most exciting adventure-holidaying experience you ever had.
